Safety Policy

We, at Spirit Sailing, take our responsibilities very seriously. Clearly the most important of these is the safety of the crew.

All our skippers and instructors are required to read an exhaustive safety policy, covering all the elements of running the boat, from the familiarisation of the crew with the operation of safety equipment through to the need for vigilance with regard signs of hypothermia, or even discomfort within the crew. The skippers and Instructors must then sign an acceptance form, undertaking to implement the policy in full.

The yachts we use are all very modern (under three years old) and are maintained to the highest standards required by the RYA and the code of practice for commercial craft.
