Sailing Regattas

As I mentioned on the Racing Home page, we do get involved in public regattas, such as the Round the |sland Race and Cowes week, however our forte is organising our own!  We do this for charities as fund-raising events, and we organise in-house regattas for .

In addition to these we are launching our own regatta this September.

We have now taken over three thousand people out onto the water and given them a fantastic time and we are going to take all that experience and organise a weekend of great racing and huge fun ashore.  One of the hallmarks of our regattas is that complete beginners race alongside those with a little more experience.  There are no 'experts' ( apart from the skippers ) to intimidate you, so whilst the racing is close and exciting, there is none of the usual arrogant puffing and shouting  that so often features in other regattas.  No-one takes it too seriously, in fact no-one is allowed to take it, or themselves for that matter,, too seriously!

We are planning the event for the weekend of the 26/27 September 2009.
